I spent a lot of time researching office chairs. I went to Office Max, Staples, and searched Amazon for hours. If you want an alternative to chairs that are $300+, this is the one. Every chair I saw in person with adjustable lumbar was about that much, but almost all of them had a weight capacity of 275 lbs. This chair feels secure under my weight and is more compact than the big and tall chairs at Office Max. With the adjustable arms, it fits easily under my desk.I’ve had this chair for a couple of weeks and it is super comfortable and was pretty straight forward to put together/clear instructions. However, I do recommend having a drill with an allen wrench bit and a second person.Overall, it’s study, comfortable on my back and bottom (I have sciatica), and cheap compared to what you’d pay in store.

I completed the process in approximately 20 minutes on my own, with the exception of the final step: attaching the chair to its base. Given the weight of the chair, this step required two people, but it was easily managed with one person guiding and another lifting.The finished product is both beautiful and exceptionally comfortable, offering a level of quality rarely found at this price point. While some reviews have mentioned that the armrests sit slightly higher than expected, I found this to be a minor consideration, especially since they conveniently fold back when needed.Overall, this purchase exceeded my expectations in terms of value, design, and comfort. For under $120, it delivers an experience that rivals more expensive options, making it an outstanding choice for anyone seeking a well-crafted, stylish, and ergonomic seating solution. Comfort and Style at the computer
I bought this chair because the previous chair was always feeling like it was leaning forward and making my hips hurt. This one is so comfortable and I can sit for long periods without hip and back pain. I like the looks of it also. I bought a second one for my son who is 6′ 5″ and about 260lbs. He is also very happy.

The armrests though…
The chair is overall comfortable. I work from home, so I spend 40-60 hours a week sitting at my desk. My chief complaint is that the arm rests are too high. I find that I have to tilt them out of the way because my arms are at an uncomfortable position, which has caused pain in my elbows, wrists, and shoulders. I’m beyond the return window, or I would definitely exchange for a chair with lower arm rests.

Don’t buy
Assembled this chair and one arm is higher than the other – not adjustable. It will create a problem with my back, neck, and shoulders if I continue to use this. The seat is also just slightly leaning, but not enough to be bad. The arms, however are way off. The manufacturer’s phone number is incorrect and their website lists the same phone number.
