Great alternative to Samsung filter
I was hesitant to try an OEM replacement filter after reading negative reviews on other models. Additionally, my Brother-in-law had a negative experience with a different brand which resulted in $300 of refrigerator damage.I did quite a bit of research and the maxblue cartridge combined the best combination of quality, capability and price. I’m glad that I gave this brand a try – the installation was easy and there have been no leaks. This cartridge cost a fraction of the Samsung cartridge and the Maxblue cartridge is a better filter than what my Samsung came with (DA29-00020A) – just an NSF 42 filter whereas the Maxblue is also an NSF 53 which has half the pore size for better filtration. Also, the flow rate actually seems a little stronger than my old filter (old filter may have gotten clogged slightly over time reducing flow somewhat)Installation Note from my experience: I turned my old filter about 1/4 turn and it popped out, but I was unable to remove it. I actually had to turn it another 1/4 turn (total: 1/2 turn) to remove it. Installation was the same. Note the direction of the handle and the turn distance. Installation was easy with no other issues or leaks.Have been using the filter for a week – I recommend it!

Fits, works and is significantly less than original factory ones.
This fit correctly and was easy to install. Can’t beat the value at less than half price of factory recommended ones. The reason for one less star is that we did have water leaking after using the water and ice output for the first 3-4 days which did not occur previously with replacement of the filter. I am not sure of the cause, but it seems to have resolved. There is no leaking at or around the filter itself. It is working well and we are happy with the purchase.
